Your responsibilities
Active participation in technical product support when complex problems occur on the customer's system landscape in interaction with our software products
Participation in the support of our customers via ticket system in case of technical inquiries concerning our software products, including the provision of a workaround or a solution in cooperation/coordination with other departments - the processing of incidents is ticket-based, no call center activity
Support of the ticket processing as a link between the different support departments and takeover of preparatory work for the next department
Proactive participation in the analysis and processing of incidents according to requirements as well as prioritization, classification, documentation and monitoring with regard to timely SLA fulfillment based on ITIL processes
Active participation in case-related processing of complex issues based on constantly evolving software and parallel customer-specific adaptations
Execution of root cause analysis on internal test systems, also in cooperation with the Quality Assurance department
Accompanying the process of going live through trainings and workshops in cooperation with the project teams
You are interested in a long-term working student position with the opportunity for completing your final thesis
Your profile
Enrolment in a study program in the field of computer science, business informatics or a comparable degree program in the natural sciences
Knowledge of or first experience with Linux and Windows operating systems, as well as databases (MS SQL, Oracle) and network protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, HTTP(S), RDP)
Independent way of working
Good communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken
