Sr. Scrum Master (m/f/d)

GK Software USA, Inc., seeks Sr. Scrum Master (Raleigh, NC)

  • Responsible for enabling the Scrum framework within GK Software's product delivery processes and run various Scrum meetings to ensure the team employs Agile values and principles. Working with a team of highly skilled and experienced engineers, the Scrum Master increases the team’s efficiency, motivates team members, spins, and argues for changes that will ensure quality and timeliness. Provide effective collaboration, facilitation, leadership, and coaching skills while supporting the development of software applications in the Retail space. Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution. Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and providing information to stakeholders, Project Managers, and leadership. Work with organization to limit blockers to the team. Provide all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example. Increase team's productivity, build self-organizing individuals and teams by practicing the Agile mindset, tool and techniques. Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC). Oversee and manage scope, timeline, quality, goals and deliverables that support business goals. Support and educate the Product Owner, especially on grooming and maintaining the product backlog. Work with Project Managers to monitor schedule and cost performance. Identify key KPIs. Continuously review the technology needs of supported business functions/processes relative to new technological developments and trends. Keeps abreast of the Agile and tech industry and emerging technology.

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) Computer Science, Information Technology, or closelyBachelor’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) Computer Science, Information Technology, or closelyrelated field of study, plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related position. Must havethree (3) years of experience in the following skills: agile practices, patterns, and techniques; User Stories;Scrum; Kanban; TDD; BDD; Continuous Integration/Continuous Testing; Automated Testing; andHTML. Must be a Certified Scrum Professional – ScrumMaster.

National Travel required up to 10% of the time.
