Location:  Mobile Work (Germany-wide), Berlin
 

What You’ll Do

  • Documentation Creation & Maintenance
    • Create and update end‑user documentation for POS‑related topics.
    • Work closely with the POS team to document new features and product updates.
    • Apply principles of topic‑based writing and migrate existing content into structured formats.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Review documentation for structure, consistency, completeness, and correct XML usage.
    • Prepare content for review and publication.
    • Ensure compliance with documentation standards and versioning requirements.
  • Toolset & Author Support
    • Support authors working with DITA XML, Git, and Oxygen (WebAuthor).
    • Improve the authoring framework, templates, and CSS to optimize usability.
  • Publishing
    • Publish documentation versions and variants across multiple channels.
    • Continuously refine and automate processes and content delivery workflows.
 

What You Bring

  • Experience in using or implementing a CMS or CDP.
  • Knowledge of XML‑based authoring environments, ideally Oxygen Author/Editor.
  • Strong understanding of information architecture and technical writing best practices.
  • Confident use of Git/GitLab (branching, merging, versioning, submodules).
  • Ability to customize documentation frameworks and CSS.
  • Strong analytical skills, detail orientation, and quality mindset.
  • Ability to explain tools and workflows clearly and support authors of all experience levels.
  • Excellent English skills; German is a plus.
