What you’ll do
- Develop scalable Java applications using Spring, REST, and modern toolchains – with AI-powered features in mind.
- Help shape the architecture of intelligent retail systems that learn, adapt, and improve over time.
- Work closely with teams focused on AI, cloud operations, and international rollouts.
- Use GitLab, Jenkins, and testing frameworks to streamline development and ensure quality.
- Explore how machine learning and predictive analytics can enhance the customer experience.
- From backend logic to smart integrations – your code helps retailers serve millions better.
What you bring
- Solid experience in Java development – ideally with Spring, REST, Maven, and cloud-ready architectures.
- Interest or experience in AI technologies – from ML models to intelligent automation.
- Familiarity with enterprise databases (Oracle, MSSQL) and frontend tech (TypeScript, Vue.js) is a plus.
- A proactive mindset, clean code principles, and a passion for solving real-world challenges.
- Fluent in English – German is a bonus (or something you’d like to learn).
- Curiosity, collaboration, and a drive to build tech that matters.
