As our Localization Specialist / Terminologist, you ensure that every term, every UI label, and every piece of product content is accurate, consistent, and culturally adapted across 29+ markets. You make thoughtful use of modern, including AI-supported, localization tools where they add value. Your work helps global customers understand, trust, and enjoy our products.

What You’ll Do
- Champion Global Localization Excellence by ensuring consistent, highquality product language across all markets and driving modern localization standards.
- Own Terminology & Language Quality by maintaining terminology databases, style guides and glossary governance to deliver clear and precise language across products.
- Optimize Localization Delivery by running translation workflows with CAT/TMS tools, validating localization formats (XLIFF, TMX, PO) and supporting automation efforts (e.g., CI/CD).
- Enable Seamless Product Experiences by partnering with Product, UX, QA and Support to ensure localized versions feel intuitive and native for users worldwide.
- Strengthen Vendor & Process Collaboration by coordinating translations in 29+ languages, managing vendor performance and ensuring smooth communication with external language partners.
- Improve Tools, Workflows & Knowledge Sharing by enhancing localization systems, terminology processes and QA routines, and enabling teams through documentation, checklists and training.
What You Bring
- A relevant academic background such as a Master’s degree in Software Localization, Translation Studies, Computational Linguistics, Informatics + Languages, or similar
- Several years of experience in software/product localization, including translation, terminology management and linguistic QA
- Strong proficiency with modern CAT/TMS tools (ideally memoQ)
- Experience working with terminology tools, terminology workflows and relevant standards
- Excellent communication skills in German and English; additional languages are a plus
- A structured, reliable and independent working style paired with strong collaboration skills
- Technical understanding in areas such as version control (GitLab), automation (Jira Automations) and regex for text validation
