As a Team Manager within our Development organization, you will take ownership of a talented group of developers based in Germany. We’re looking for a dynamic and driven individual—someone who’s ready to take the next step in their career, ideally with first leadership experience as a Lead Developer or similar, and who’s eager to grow together with their own team. We’ll support you every step of the way. 

Your team is assembled of mainly Java Developers, who, together with you, deliver global solutions inside the retail sector, to help and shape the future of the retail worldwide.  

Your leadership will be essential not only for ensuring consistent performance and delivery, but also for creating an environment that values and supports the needs and growth of each team member. 

Your Role in Action:

• Lead and mentor a Java development team to achieve project goals and ensure high code quality. 

• Align development efforts with customer-specific requirements and project goals to deliver tailored enhancements to our POS solution. 

• Drive agile processes and ensure high-quality, maintainable code. 

• Foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement. 

• Facilitate communication across departments and remove roadblocks.  

Your Talent and Experience:

• Background in Software Development, with or without leadership experience. 

• Proven experience in software development, ideally in Java-based environments. 

• Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and team leadership practices. 

• Excellent communication and coaching skills. 

• Experience with cloud technologies and modern development toolchains. 

• Fluent in English, enabling effective communication in an international and local context, fluent or willing to learn German would be a plus.
