Can a reapply after a rejection?
The reasons for a rejection can be very diverse. Maybe you are just the right person for the new position.
Can I apply for several positions at the same time?
Of course, you can. If you are interested in more than one position, you are welcome to apply more than once. You can access the current vacancies via our careers page and apply for the respective positions.
When can I expect to hear back about my application?
We have made it our goal to carefully review each application. This can sometimes take some time, so we ask for your patience and understanding. As soon as we have gained an impression of your application, we will contact you immediately. You are welcome to inquire about the current status of your application at any time with the contact person named in the advertisement.
Which application documents are required?
In order for us to get the best possible impression of your application, we need the following documents:
- Cover letter or letter of motivation (optional)
- Curriculum vitae with complete contact details (optionally with photo)
- Relevant work and / or school references
What is the application process for interns / students / trainees?
Once we have received your application, it will be released for review by the relevant department. After a thorough review of your documents, we will contact you with initial feedback, e.g. a request for an interview date.
Our trainees and dual students are selected in a two-stage process. After an initial meeting to get to know each other, there is usually a second interview or trainee selection day. On this day, you will be given a comprehensive insight into the company and the respective apprenticeships. In addition, you have the opportunity to demonstrate your previous experience and knowledge in the respective occupation.
Due to the corona pandemic, the selection day is currently taking place online as part of a second interview. Further information will be provided to you in advance by the respective trainer and personnel manager.
What should I include with my application for an internship / student job / thesis?
If you want to apply for a mandatory internship at GK, we need the relevant excerpt from your study or training regulations. For all student internships as well as working student activities and final theses, a currently valid certificate of enrollment is required. In addition to the usual application documents (cover letter and curriculum vitae), we are always pleased to receive a current transcript of grades or the most recent school reports.

What happens to the data I enter?
