Your responsibilities

• Responsibility for coordination, conception, design and implementation of software components and sophisticated cloud IT architectures in the area of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data. 
• Development and design of APIs and central components 
• Supporting the development teams in the implementation of projects (clarification of technical issues, agile elaboration of implementation details)
• You will be responsible for developing a high-quality software design and implementing an adequate system architecture
• Conducting reviews to ensure compliance with design and architecture specifications 
• Ensuring agreed architectural principles and standards as well as non-functional requirements are met 
• Design and implement solutions with security, performance, and maintainability requirements in mind
• Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure optimal operations through a scalable cloud architecture

 
Your profile

• Several years of relevant professional experience in software development, design and architecture of cloud native software services and/or applications. 
• Knowledge of running cloud software using Kubernetes and Docker 
• Extensive experience with various cloud providers, especially hyper-scalers such as Azure, GCP, AWS
• Good knowledge in the areas of Big Data architectures
• Experience with agile development processes 
• Proactive approach, ability to analyze
• Very good written and spoken English skills, German skills desirable
