Your reponsibilities

• Being perceived as a trusted advisor to Board of Directors and C-Level executives throughout our existing customers and in prospect engagements.
• Providing guidance in customer engagements focusing on operational excellence, process improvements and operating model enhancements for innovation and growth.
• Providing market leading experience on current best practices, tooling, technology and (upcoming) trends in the market.
• Evolving service delivery and tooling as well as transformational approaches, business models as well as digital/agile transformation processes
• Being capable of acting as a firefighter, driving to already “on-fire” customer situations with the mission to extinguish those fires and even leverage those as an opportunity for growth.
• Drive strategic contractual negotiations with a major focus on standard product do-ability vs. economical and organizational best achievable outcomes (ensure product standards fit customer expectations)
• Being an integral part of #(r)efficeny mission, advising retailers how to increase business value with existing or new innovation and platform offerings
• Become a part of a Retail Advisory “SWAT-Team”
• Drive Vision, Strategy & delivery roadmaps with our customers for new assets or holistically
• Unlock business growth by disrupting and innovating retailer’s products, services and business model

Your profile

• Distinctive knowledge in the field of retail
• At least 10 years of professional experience in the software industry
• Degree in informatics, international management or a comparable or equivalent qualification with appropriate professional experience
• High developed understanding of complex IT architectures and requirements
• General retail process knowledge (POS, Backoffice, ERP, OmniChannel, etc.) required
• SAP product skills preferred
• Innovation-driven mindset and interest in new technologies and upcoming trends
• Strong ability to consult in all phases of a customer engagement
• Well-built customer and service orientation, flexibility and ability to work in a team
• Sense of topics with potential for escalation and ability to enter into discussion and diplomatic solution finding
• Fast learner, high analytical and conceptual capability
• Excellent presentation and articulation skills.

• Advisory competences – ask the right questions, at the right time i/o to challenge the customer guiding him to jointly creating a successful product/setup.
