Your responsibilities

• Assessment of cloud applications and infrastructures for security risks according to national and international standards, and development of actionable recommendations
• Implementation of monitoring and vulnerability management for cloud infrastructures
• Development and implementation of security solutions to protect data and applications in cloud environments
• Collaboration with IT teams in defining security requirements, developing models for secure architectures, and executing security initiatives
• Analysis, interpretation, and documentation of findings or vulnerabilities through a ticketing system, as well as developing solution proposals in collaboration with the customer
• Consulting with other organizational units to improve IT security through threat modeling
• Regular analysis of current IT threat landscapes and optimization of existing security solutions to identify both known and emerging attack patterns
• Advising and supporting the IT compliance team in designing technical regulations

Your profile

• Completed studies in computer science, ideally with a focus on IT security, or a comparable qualification
• Experience in cloud environments, ideally in the field of cloud security
• Experience with Azure
• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
• Certification as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and/or other certifications (e.g., CRISC, CISM, CISA, OSCP, OSCE, or OSWE, etc.) and good knowledge of ISMS (ISO/IEC 27001/2) are an advantage
• Experience and knowledge of tools and processes for handling IT security incidents
• Technical and methodological expertise in working with IT security tools in cloud environments
• Experience with relevant regulations and standards in the field of IT security (e.g., ISO 27001, BSI IT Grundschutz, OWASP, NIST, CIS Controls)
• Analytical, conceptual, and flexible working style
• Team player with flexibility and a confident demeanor, especially regarding communication and presentation of solutions and results
