Your responsibilities

• Further development and optimization of retail process applications

• Conception and implementation of new software solutions, microservices and integration of third-party web services (REST)

• Development and execution of unit tests

• Development of APIs for the Software Development Kit

• Creation of technical documentation (Confluence, SDK, etc.)

• Might be (depending on team assignment):

  • Connection of hardware such as card terminals, printers, scanners and more

Your profile

• Completed degree in (business) informatics or comparable education

• Several years of experience in application software development advantageous

• Logical and analytical way of thinking

• Team player

• Knowledge in: Eclipse or IntelliJ, GIT, JUnit, CI (Jenkins, Nexus), Rest API, json

• Experience with web services and Open API/ Swagger, YAML, JWT, OAuth2

• Very good English skills

• Backend

  • Very good knowledge of Java / EE (Spring) as well as client- and server-side frameworks

  • Relational databases - SQL

• Frontend

  • Experience of javascript/typescript (basics), html & css, npm

  • Basics in node.js

• Would be a plus, if you have experience in

  • cordova framework for hybrid application development

  • selenium or other testing frameworks

  • frontend framework vue.js

  • retail business processes

  • hardware communication experience

  • JIRA ticketing system, Confluence document management
